Golan Heights Seminary Students Comfort Bereaved Families

Students from the Bnei Akiva Ulpana in the Golan Heights have launched a heartwarming initiative to support families who have experienced loss and bereavement. Ahead of the Rosh Hashanah holiday, dozens of students prepared and personally delivered gift packages containing sweets to numerous families across the Golan region.

During these visits, the students presented each family with a personal blessing from the seminary's staff, expressing wishes for a sweet and happy new year. These face-to-face interactions provided moments of comfort and strength for the families as they approached the holiday period.

The seminary emphasized that the initiative extends beyond Rosh Hashanah. Throughout the coming year, the students will maintain ongoing contact with these families, sending messages of care, support, and small gestures to offer continuous comfort and solidarity.

"We wanted to tell these dear families that they are in our hearts not just on special occasions, but throughout the entire year," said Vardit Tepperberg, the head of the seminary. "We are all part of one family, the Golan family. We share in the pain, we remember, we embrace, and we pray that the new year will bring comfort, hope, strength, and good tidings."
