A new short film, "Good News," tells the story of Amona Hirak, the widow of Yosef Yehuda, who learned she was pregnant while her husband was fighting in the Gaza Strip. She shared the joyful news with him, but he was killed in combat just one day later.
The film was made as part of the final film project at Ulpanat Beharan. It is named after the couple’s son, who was born after his father’s death.
The film was directed by Chava Friedman. Tehila Wertheim handled cinematography, and Shira Zenber was the editor.
