UNRWA Headquarters Demolished in Jerusalem Following Hamas Links Allegations

The Talor Karadi Group completed the demolition of the UNRWA headquarters building in Jerusalem on Thursday, September 10th. According to Channel 14, the site is now cleared, leaving only debris in the city center. The evacuation of the complex began in January, involving police, engineers, and representatives from the Israel Land Authority.

The demolition follows investigations conducted since the start of the "Iron Swords" war, which reportedly revealed connections between UNRWA staff and the Hamas terrorist organization. Security forces claim that senior UNRWA officials were directly involved in the October 7th massacre. Additionally, underground infrastructure used by Hamas was discovered beneath UNRWA facilities in the Gaza Strip.

The demolished complex served as UNRWA's central headquarters in Israel, situated between Mahal, Netter, and Shlomo Zalman Shragai streets. While the organization's official operations at the site ceased approximately 18 months ago, individuals illegally occupying the premises remained until early this year. The project manager stated, "Today we closed the circle with those who tried to harm Israel's security."
