Twelve-Year-Old Arrested for Reckless Dirt Bike Riding in Moshav
Northern District Police officers apprehended a 12-year-old boy in the village of Moshav on September 8, 2026, after observing him riding a dirt bike dangerously. The officers spotted the youth performing a wheelie on the road during routine patrol.
Following the stop, it was revealed that the rider was only 12 years old. Further inspection showed that the dirt bike lacked a valid license, which had expired in January 2025. The motorcycle was impounded for 30 days.
The minor was taken in for questioning and is expected to face legal proceedings in juvenile court. Police are urging parents to be involved in their children's activities and ensure they do not ride without a license, emphasizing the risks to both the riders and other road users.
