Paramedic Saves Teen From Life-Threatening Allergic Reaction in Uman
A United Hatzalah paramedic administered a life-saving adrenaline injection to a 17-year-old youth suffering from a severe allergic reaction near the tomb of Rabbi Nachman in Uman, Ukraine. Paramedic David Ordman responded to the emergency and injected the teen with an epinephrine ampule, stabilizing his condition.
Following the injection, the youth's condition improved significantly. He was then transported to a local clinic in Uman for further medical observation and treatment.
The incident occurred in the vicinity of the prominent Jewish pilgrimage site, where many Israelis and Jews from around the world gather, particularly during the High Holidays.
