Maccabi Netanya in Talks for Brazilian Winger Isaac
Israeli Premier League club Maccabi Netanya is reportedly in negotiations to sign 22-year-old Brazilian winger Isaac from Athletico Paranaense. The deal is expected to be a loan with an option to buy.
Isaac, represented by prominent Brazilian agent Marcio Bittencourt, has played in four matches this season as a substitute, without scoring or assisting. Last season, he appeared in 25 games and provided one assist.
Maccabi Netanya has previously recruited players from Brazil, notably signing Matheus Dabo from the second tier of Brazilian football last summer. Bittencourt, who is considered a leading agent in Brazil, is reportedly working with Max De Giglio on the Netanya negotiations.
This potential signing comes as Maccabi Netanya seeks to strengthen its squad for the current season.
