Maccabi Netanya Parts Ways With Midfielder Sahar Taghi Amid Talks With Bnei Sakhnin
Maccabi Netanya announced on Thursday the departure of 25-year-old midfielder Sahar Taghi after two years with the club. Taghi joined Netanya in the summer of 2024 as part of a trade that sent Ahmed Salman to Bnei Sakhnin. During his tenure with Netanya, Taghi made only 12 appearances and scored one goal in the 2024-2025 Premier League season.
Taghi is now reportedly in negotiations to rejoin Bnei Sakhnin, the team he left two years prior. In his previous two seasons with Bnei Sakhnin, from 2022 to 2024, Taghi played 50 games and scored 4 goals.
