Prosecutors Close Rape Investigation Against Musician Yuval Vilner Due to Lack of Evidence
The State Prosecutor's Office has closed the investigation into musician Yuval Vilner, who was suspected of raping Shi Li Atari and Naama Shahar. The decision was made citing a "lack of evidence."
Vilner had been accused by two women of sexual assault. Following the investigation, prosecutors determined there was insufficient evidence to pursue charges.
Vilner's attorney, Moshe Weiss, welcomed the decision, stating, "We welcome the prosecution's decision. There is only one truth, and the truth has come to light."
