Police Fail to Locate Woman Accusing MK Hanoch Milwitsky of Assault, Case Likely to Close
Israeli police informed the prosecution and Attorney General that they have been unable to locate the woman who accused Member of Knesset Hanoch Milwitsky of rape, despite extensive search efforts including assistance from Russian police. The woman reportedly "disappeared without a trace," leading authorities to consider closing the case. The complaint alleges that the assault occurred in a hotel room where the woman was brought to sign a statement denying she was raped by the leader of the "Bnei Baruch" organization. During his interrogation, Milwitsky refused to directly address what happened in the hotel room but denied ever forcing himself on a woman. The police conducted various investigative measures, including checking possible residences and using technological tools, but failed to find the complainant. Milwitsky's defense attorney, Zion Amir, stated that there was never a basis for the warning interrogation and called for the case to be closed promptly.
