Rabbi Calls Public to West Bank Farms for High Holidays

Rabbi David Dodedkovich, the rabbi of the settlement of Yitzhar and head of the Ro'eh Israel yeshiva, is urging the public to visit West Bank farms during the High Holidays to strengthen their residents and assist in holding prayer services. He described the work of the farm residents in defending the land and preserving its holy soil as "immense."

Rabbi Dodedkovich specifically requested that people join the prayer gatherings, stating, "On Rosh Hashanah, they plead, 'Come be with us for the prayer service, so that we can together at the farms sanctify God's name properly in prayer.'" He emphasized that public presence at these locations provides significant support for the residents.

He further stated that participating in these prayer services is a "great mitzvah" (commandment), and those who join are partners in this "immense mitzvah." The rabbi concluded with a blessing for a good and sweet year.
