Rabbi Tzvi Tau Visits Noam Party Headquarters, Urges Action

Rabbi Tzvi Tau made a surprise visit to the election headquarters of the Noam Party on Tuesday, offering words of encouragement and blessing to the party's activists and candidates. "This is a matter of saving a life. We must act and do. The time has come to declare the truth," Rabbi Tau stated, emphasizing the critical nature of the party's mission.

During the meeting, Rabbi Tau addressed the party's decision to run independently in the upcoming Knesset elections. He drew a parallel between this move and the early days of the Zionist movement, suggesting that opposition and hatred are expected when initiating something new and vital. He urged activists not to be deterred by anticipated criticism, stating, "We must preemptively forgive all insults, all curses, and all slander... They fear death that we will be a factor that renews something here that no one else is dealing with. We will stand firm because the people of Israel need this like air to breathe. We can no longer remain silent."

Rabbi Tau stressed that for him, this is not merely a political maneuver but a profound national necessity. He asserted that political calculations alone will not save the Jewish people, but rather the "original, true spirit from the depths of the soul." He also noted a perceived spiritual awakening among the Israeli public, with people returning to religious observance. "We do not rely on miracles, but act with effort, with purity of heart, with a logical and orderly plan and calculation. The time has come to declare the truth," he concluded.

The Noam Party stated that Rabbi Tau's remarks provided significant morale for their candidates and activists as they enter the election campaign. The party's independent run will focus on the Jewish identity of the State of Israel and its spiritual, educational, and national direction.
