Kfar Saba Holds Annual Selichot Performance with Thousands of Residents
Thousands of residents gathered last week in Kfar Saba's Culture Hall plaza for the city's main Selichot (penitential prayers) performance ahead of the new year. The event featured artists David D'Or and Amir Benayoun, blending traditional piyutim (liturgical poems), prayer, and joint musical performances.
Mayor Rafi Sa'ar attended the moving event, which was produced by the Community Administration's events department in cooperation with the city's Department of Israeli Heritage. The large crowd filled the plaza, singing along with the artists and reciting Selichot prayers in anticipation of the High Holy Days.
The Kfar Saba Municipality thanked the thousands of attendees for filling the venue and wished the city's residents a good, quiet, and blessed new year.
