Rabbi Steinman Leads High Holy Days Preparation in Jerusalem Yeshivas

Rabbi Shaul Alter, a prominent rabbinical leader and member of the Council of Torah Sages, conducted a series of preparatory sessions for the upcoming High Holy Days at two Jerusalem yeshivas. The tour began at the "Bracha Shmuel" yeshiva in the Givat Shaul neighborhood, headed by Rabbi Uziyahu Leibowitz. Rabbi Alter delivered a special "strengthening" address to the students there.

Following the visit to "Bracha Shmuel," Rabbi Alter proceeded to the "Otzar Hatorah" (Rabbi Reber) yeshiva. There, he imparted profound words of encouragement to the students as they prepared for the new academic year and the solemn period of judgment. Hundreds of students passed before Rabbi Alter to receive his blessings for the coming year at the conclusion of the sessions.

The visits are part of the traditional preparations undertaken by rabbinical leaders to spiritually fortify students before the High Holy Days, a period of introspection and divine judgment in the Jewish calendar.
