Rami Levy Supermarkets Adjust Holiday Hours for Israeli Shoppers
The Israeli retail chain Rami Levy Hashikma Marketing is announcing adjusted operating hours across its branches nationwide to accommodate the anticipated surge in shopping during the upcoming High Holidays and Sukkot festival.
The company is urging customers to plan ahead and familiarize themselves with the special opening and closing times. Key changes include extended hours on the Saturday evening before Rosh Hashanah, September 5, 2026, with all branches open until midnight. On the evening of Yom Kippur, September 20, 2026, branches will operate on a shortened schedule, closing at 1:00 PM.
For other holiday evenings, including the evenings following Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, and Simchat Torah, branches that are typically open on Saturday evenings will operate according to their usual Saturday night schedule. The company provided a list of branches that follow this Saturday night operating pattern, including locations in Mevaseret Zion, Ashdod, Tiberias, Netanya, Haifa, and Be'er Sheva, among others.
