Benny Gantz Vows to Continue Knesset Race, Predicts Double-Digit Seats

Blue and White party leader Benny Gantz has stated he will not withdraw from the upcoming Knesset elections, despite current unfavorable poll numbers. Speaking to Kan News on Reshet Bet radio, Gantz affirmed his commitment to running until election day, expressing confidence that his party's support will grow.

"I am continuing to the end. We are just getting started, and I am convinced that as the polls rise slightly, people will gain confidence," Gantz said. He projected that his party would not reach 20% of the Israeli public, calling that figure "a bit high," but suggested half that amount, or a double-digit seat count, was achievable. "It might even reach double digits," he added.

Gantz emphasized his modesty in estimations but determination to proceed. "If I reach five, six, or seven seats, it's impossible to form a government without me," he stated. He concluded by outlining his vision for a future government: "Then they will come to me and ask what government I think should be formed, and my answer is clear: a Zionist unity government that crosses blocs. Here, that's the solution."
