Benny Gantz Confident in Blue and White's Potential Despite Poll Challenges

Benny Gantz, chairman of the Blue and White party and former defense minister, addressed his party's challenging position in recent polls during an interview with Omri Asenheim on Kan News Radio. Gantz expressed confidence in his party's electoral potential, stating that Blue and White "has a public, it just doesn’t know it yet." When asked about his target voters, he described them as "the entire sane public in Israel, if they are not sectarian."

Gantz illustrated his perceived grassroots support by sharing that many citizens approach him on the street with encouraging messages such as "don’t stop," "win," and "we think like you." He emphasized his main goal of presenting a broad Zionist unity to the public, acknowledging that achieving this political objective is difficult but essential for the country.

Further in the interview, Gantz discussed the political blocs in Israel and outlined his vision for uniting forces. He advocated for the political center to consolidate into a single large party representing this ideology, which he believes would create significant power to enforce the formation of a broad and sensible unity government after the elections.
