Israel Prepares for Iranian Attack, Defense Minister Warns Tehran
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant issued an unusual Rosh Hashanah message, warning Iran of a severe response to any attack on Israel. Gallant stated that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are on high alert, prepared to carry out missions as instructed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and himself.
Gallant addressed both the Jewish community in Iran, wishing them a safe and good year, and the Iranian people, expressing hope for a future Tehran free from oppression. He specifically warned the Iranian leadership against any aggression towards Israel, citing the economic pressure and hardship the country is facing.
"Any attack on Israel, for any reason and in any place, will be met with a powerful response that will severely harm Iran in ways it has not yet experienced," Gallant declared. He specifically mentioned potential strikes on Iran's main energy facilities, which he claimed fund its war and terror apparatus and are used to harm Israeli citizens.
Such a response, Gallant added, would set Iran back decades and further destabilize the ruling ayatollah regime, which he believes the Iranian people despise and wish to see fall. He concluded by wishing the Jewish people worldwide a good year and the downfall of their enemies.
