Formula 1 driver Lance Stroll has set a new negative record in the sport's qualifying history. The Aston Martin driver was eliminated in the first qualifying round for the 100th time in his career at the Italian Grand Prix in Monza. This dubious distinction makes him the first driver since the three-stage qualifying format was introduced in 2006 to reach this number of first-round eliminations.

The previous record stood at 74 eliminations, making Stroll's achievement significantly worse.
