Givataim Tower Project Begins Demolition of Old Buildings

MaarivCenter
Translated & summarized from Maariv by baba
The story · English

A major urban renewal project, dubbed JASMIN, has commenced in the heart of Givataim, a city in central Israel. Three older residential buildings, housing 42 apartments, are being demolished to make way for a new 32-story tower. This new structure will feature 117 modern apartments, ranging from three to five rooms, as well as duplexes and penthouses.

The project, located on Adamit Street, is being developed by ICR Israel Canada and Ram Megurim. Early sales have already seen approximately 17% of the new units purchased. The price per square meter starts at around 43,000 shekels, with occupancy expected within five years.

The tower's design is by Knaan Shenhav Architects, led by architect Gil Shenhav. The development is situated in a central Givataim location, close to schools, parks, shopping centers, and public transportation, including proximity to the future Purple Line of the light rail.

The commencement of demolition and construction was marked by an event attended by key figures, including Dalia Raviv, CEO of ICR Israel Canada; Raz Oded, owner of Ram Megurim; Yair Aaron, CEO of Electra Construction; and Moshe Goldstein, Deputy Mayor of Givataim.
