Expert Warns Ofer Winter's Stubbornness Risks Wasted Votes
Dr. Gustavo Perednik, an author and intellectual, sharply criticized retired Brigadier General Ofer Winter's conduct and his refusal to unite with other right-wing parties. Perednik warned of a repeat scenario of wasted votes and voter deception.
In an interview with Avi Razon on Radio Galey Israel, Perednik addressed concerns within the national camp regarding Winter's independent run leading the "Amcha Israel" party and his refusal to join existing lists. "After Bennett, you can't trust anyone," Perednik stated. "The trauma we experienced with the Bennett affair, I don't think any other country in the world has experienced, so we need to be extremely cautious."
Perednik further clarified that suspicion among the right-wing public is entirely justified given past experiences. "Even if there are no prominent symptoms, every little thing is suspicious. And the little thing here is the stubbornness not to join anyone, it's truly worrying."
