Maccabi Haifa Midfielder Guni Naor in Talks for Transfer
Maccabi Haifa midfielder Guni Naor is reportedly in discussions with both Hapoel Ramat Gan and Ironi Tiberias regarding a potential transfer before the transfer window closes. Hapoel Ramat Gan is looking to strengthen its midfield and has identified Naor as a key target.
The 27-year-old Naor has struggled to establish himself at Maccabi Haifa and is not part of coach Barak Bakhar's plans for the upcoming season. He has only appeared once for the club this season, in a Toto Cup match against rivals Hapoel Haifa.
Last season, Naor spent the latter half on loan at Greek club Larissa. His potential move to Hapoel Ramat Gan would follow that of Getachew Yablo, who transferred from Maccabi Haifa to Hapoel Ramat Gan earlier in the transfer window. A proposed move for Sherif Keif was also halted due to injury.
Maccabi Haifa is currently preparing its squad for the ongoing season.
