Singer Benצור Halts Concert After Security Ejects His Mother

Singer BenTzur dramatically halted his performance at Jerusalem's Sultan's Pool on Wednesday evening during the "Me'irim BaSlichot" event series. The incident occurred when security personnel, concerned about overcrowding near the stage, began removing people from the area. Among those escorted out was BenTzur's mother and other family members.

Witnessing his mother being removed while he was singing, BenTzur immediately instructed his band to stop the music. "Stop the show, sorry. They are sitting here," he said, addressing the band and production. He then firmly stated to the audience and organizers, "Stop the show, from the beginning. Until my family is sitting in front of me, we are not continuing. Family above all."

BenTzur explained the sudden pause to the crowd, saying, "It's hard to concentrate when you see security guards taking your mother out in front of your eyes." He only resumed the performance after personally ensuring his mother had been returned to her seat.
