Furniture Company CEO Visits Prominent Rabbis, Discusses Ponevezh Yeshiva

Anar Amiram, CEO of "Lahav Furniture," conducted a special tour visiting prominent Israeli rabbis ahead of Rosh Hashanah, presenting them with ornate prayer corners including a matching chair and stand. The visits aimed to showcase the company's products and foster relationships within the religious community.

Amiram's first stop was the home of Rabbi Meir Tzvi Bergman, Rosh Yeshiva of Ponevezh, where a new prayer corner was installed in his room. Rabbi Bergman examined the furniture and inquired about its details. His grandson, Rabbi Avremi Bergman, explained the company's work in synagogues and yeshivas. Rabbi Bergman then engaged Amiram in conversation about Lahav Furniture's activities and projects in Torah institutions, ultimately bestowing a unique blessing of "immense wealth" upon the CEO.

Next, Amiram visited Rabbi Baruch Dov Povarsky, another Rosh Yeshiva of Ponevezh, who also received a prayer corner. Prior to this meeting, Amiram toured the Ponevezh Yeshiva itself with Meir Eshak, an associate of prominent rabbis. During the tour, the yeshiva's structure, needs, and potential renovations related to an ongoing arbitration process were presented. This visit sparked speculation about the possibility of the yeshiva's main hall also being refurnished by Lahav Furniture.

Amiram also met with Rabbi Amram Fried, a noted Halachic decisor, who thanked him personally for a prayer corner installed in his study hall. Lahav Furniture, in business for over six decades, specializes in designing and manufacturing furniture for synagogues and has reportedly furnished over 7,000 such institutions worldwide. The company emphasizes customized solutions, focusing on comfort, durability, and suitability for long-term use, catering to both small and large communities.
