Chief Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef Visits Torah Center in Jerusalem's Ramot D Neighborhood
Thousands of residents from Jerusalem's Ramot D neighborhood gathered for a prestigious Torah event held at the 'Shulchan Aruch' synagogue and study hall, led by Rabbi Rafael Sharbani and his son Rabbi Moshe Sharbani. The event was honored by the presence of Chief Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef, who affixed a mezuzah at the entrance of the study hall, a central beacon of Torah learning in the area where the main weekly lesson is delivered every Saturday night.
Following the mezuzah dedication, Chief Rabbi Yosef delivered an in-depth halachic lecture to a packed audience. He expressed great admiration for the growth of the institutions and warmly encouraged those involved in the extensive Torah activities available to local residents. During his address, he also shared personal memories, recalling the deep friendship between his father, the late Chief Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, and the late Rabbi Moshe Sharbani, a bond that continues through the current generation dedicated to Torah study and enriching the study hall's legacy.
