Businessman Roni Mana Accuses Netanyahu of 'Murder' Over October 7 Failures

Businessman Roni Mana, once a close associate of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and now a vocal critic, launched a scathing attack on the premier via social media. Mana's comments were prompted by a segment on the "Ha'Tzinor" program, where journalist Shlomi Eldar was seen laughing at a legal warning letter he received.

Mana accused Netanyahu of being caught "with his pants down" and fabricating "Arabian Nights stories" to escape scrutiny. He derided the legal threats, calling a letter from Netanyahu's lawyer Ilan Bombach to Eldar a "joke." Mana also criticized Channel 14 reporters for allegedly fabricating details about Eldar's whereabouts to support Netanyahu's claims of not receiving a specific phone call.

Further escalating his criticism, Mana accused Netanyahu's circle of hypocrisy regarding ties with Mohammed Dahlan and described the prime minister's behavior as "terrible paranoia." He directly addressed the public and families of victims from the October 7 attacks, urging them to protest until Netanyahu resigns.

"He knew and did nothing, and he is trying to sell us that he will protect us. Bibi is guilty of their murder and killing. Demonstrate against him, do not give up," Mana declared. The controversy stems from reports that Netanyahu sent legal warning letters to journalists and media outlets following alleged political warning calls he received. Conversely, pro-Netanyahu media figures have dismissed these reports as baseless and self-perpetuating falsehoods, advocating for legal challenges to refute them.
