Bialla Rebbe Inaugurates New Educational Buildings in Ma'ale Amos

The Grand Rabbi of Bialla, Rabbi Yaakov Yitzchak Rabinowitz, led a ceremony inaugurating new educational facilities in the settlement of Ma'ale Amos on Sunday. The event, which also included his brother Rabbi Avraham Moshe Rabinowitz, the rabbinical judge for the local Hasidic communities, aimed to strengthen the educational institutions.

The proceedings began at the new girls' school, where the Rebbe held a "L'chaim Tish" (a celebratory gathering with blessings and refreshments). He expressed a wish for the school's rapid expansion, anticipating that the current building would soon be insufficient for the growing number of students.

Following this, the Rebbe proceeded to the "Toldot Adam" Talmud Torah, which operates under his auspices, to affix mezuzahs to the new classrooms. Addressing the students beforehand, he emphasized that the "breath of their mouths" (their Torah study) serves as the true mezuzah and protection for the town. The Rebbe and his brother were honored with affixing the mezuzahs.

A "L'chaim" gathering followed, attended by the Talmud Torah's administration, teachers, staff, and parents. During the visit, Yaron Rosenthal, head of the Gush Etzion Regional Council, met with the Rebbe to receive a blessing for the new year and express his support for the continued development of the institutions and the Hasidic community in Ma'ale Amos.

The Rebbe concluded the day by receiving Hasidim and local residents for "kvitlech" (written petitions) and New Year blessings, a reception that continued late into the night.
