Top Rabbi Addresses Education at New Yeshiva Inauguration in Karmiel
Rabbi Shrageh Steinman, a prominent rabbinic leader, attended the inauguration of the "Torah V'Daat" Talmud Torah school in Karmiel on Tuesday. The event, part of preparations for the High Holy Days, also included Rabbi Steinman visiting local religious communities and educational institutions in the northern city.
The inauguration ceremony for the independent education Talmud Torah was a significant gathering, attended by Karmiel Mayor Moshe Kuninsky and his deputy, Rabbi Pinchas Siroka, who also chairs the city's Council of Torah Sages. Rabbi Eliezer Sorotzkin, CEO of the Independent Education network, opened the event, expressing gratitude to Rabbi Steinman for his presence and noting that over 300 Talmud Torah schools within the network have opened their academic year following his guidance.
During the ceremony, Rabbi Steinman delivered a special address focusing on methods to foster a love of Torah among students. He concluded his remarks by thanking all those involved in the educational endeavors. The event concluded with closing remarks from the city's chief rabbi, Rabbi A. Z. Margalit.
