Loni Walker and Dan Oturu left out as Tel Aviv derby rosters are set

Translated & summarized from Mako by baba
The story · English

Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Tel Aviv published their rosters on Thursday morning ahead of Game 2 of the Israeli Basketball Premier League finals, with no changes to either team’s foreign-player allocation. The second game of the series will tip off at 8:50 p.m. at Hapoel’s home arena and will be shown live on 5SPORT. After Maccabi’s lopsided win in Game 1, Hapoel will try to level the best-of-series matchup at 1-1.

Maccabi coach Oded Katash again left Loni Walker out of the squad. The yellow-and-blue listed the same five players used in the first derby, Iffe Lundberg, Jalen Hoard, Jimmy Clark, Oshae Brissett and Zach Hankins, and registered Clark and Hoard for the game.

On the Hapoel side, Dimitris Itoudis also kept his foreign-player group unchanged, and Dan Oturu, who has returned to Israel, will still not dress for the club. Hapoel’s roster for the game includes Jonathan Motley, Chris Jones, Tai Odiase, Vasilije Micic and Ish Wainright.

Hapoel did make one roster adjustment, replacing Itay Segev with Igor Kolshov. The series continues after what the report described as Maccabi’s heavy blow in the previous game.
