Loni Walker and Dan Oturu ruled out for Tel Aviv derby Game 2
Hapoel Tel Aviv will host Maccabi Tel Aviv on Thursday at 8:50 p.m. in Game 2 of the Israeli Basketball Premier League playoff final series, after Maccabi’s lopsided win in the first game. The matchup will be broadcast live on 5SPORT, and Hapoel will be trying to level the series at 1-1.
On Thursday morning, both coaches, Dimitris Itoudis for Hapoel and Oded Katash for Maccabi, announced their rosters for the crucial game. Neither team made any changes to its foreign-player lineup.
For Maccabi, Loni Walker remains out of the squad. Katash kept the same five from the series opener: Ike Lydonberg, Jalen Hoard, Jimmy Clark, Oshae Brissett and Zach Hankins. Hapoel also left Dan Oturu out of the roster, even after he returned to Israel.
Itoudis again named the same five from the previous game: Jonathan Motley, Chris Jones, Tai Odiase, Vasilije Micic and Ish Wainright. The only change in Hapoel’s roster is Igor Kouleshov, who replaces Itay Segev.
