Netanyahu Accuses Palestinian Leader of Foreign Interference in Israeli Elections
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded Wednesday evening to a report published by the newspaper "Haaretz," stating that the "real issue revealed in the last two days is blatant foreign interference in the Israeli elections." Netanyahu claimed in a statement released by his office that Palestinian leader Mohammed Dahlan, residing in the UAE, is behind the "false report" published by "Haaretz."
The Prime Minister's office also alleged that journalist Shlomi Eldar, who authored the report, "received money from a left-wing association linked to the Democratic Party led by Yair Golan to publish this false narrative."
