Ma'ale Adumim Launches First Urban Renewal Project, 'Red Towers'
The Ben David Group has announced the commencement of marketing for 'Red Towers' (Migdalei Adumim), the first urban renewal project in Ma'ale Adumim. Located on a 33-dunam site on HaKeren Street, the project is situated near the city hall, educational campus, main transportation routes, synagogues, and the Ofer Adumim mall.
The project, officially recognized by the Israel Land Authority, will demolish 147 existing housing units and 17 stores to construct 750 new housing units. These will include a 31-story tower with 170 units and six additional 26-story towers comprising 580 units. A 3,000-square-meter commercial avenue will also be built, offering retail and leisure options.
Construction will occur in two phases. The first phase involves building a new tower on an acquired plot, followed by the demolition of old structures and the construction of the remaining towers in the second phase. The buildings will adhere to high standards and green building codes, featuring a luxury lobby, synagogue, gym, underground parking, electric vehicle charging preparation for each apartment, and advanced infrastructure like VRF air conditioning and an internal pneumatic waste disposal system.
The development, designed by Bitman Ben Tzur Architects, includes an internal green park, extensive environmental development, expanded public spaces, two playground complexes, and connections to bicycle paths. The project benefits from improved accessibility to Jerusalem via new roads, including the French Hill tunnels and Derech Markam Hayim, making it an attractive residential option for Jerusalem residents seeking better value without compromising on modern living standards or proximity to the capital.
