Ramla World City Festival Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Diverse Events
The city of Ramla is preparing to host the 10th annual "Ramla, World City" festival on September 29 and 30, 2026. This major event, supported by the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Culture and Sport, Ministry of Tourism, and Mifal HaPais, will transform the city into a hub of music, culture, cuisine, and family entertainment.
The festival will feature performances by top Israeli artists, children's shows, street performances, extreme sports zones, interactive activities, and guided tours. Most events will be free, with tickets for the main evening concerts priced at a symbolic 30 shekels.
A central stage will be set up near the White Tower, Ramla's historical landmark. The festival kicks off on September 29 with a multicultural procession, followed by children's shows and evening performances by Eyal Levi, Noa Kirel, and Like Queen. September 30 will include a children's show, and performances by Stefan Legard, comedy trio "Ma Kashur," and Regev Hod.
Exclusive to the 10th anniversary, a multimedia opening show, "The White Tower Awakens," will premiere on September 29, using the tower as a backdrop for a light and laser spectacle accompanied by live music, narrating the city's history and the festival's decade-long journey.
Festival activities will span 10 key locations across Ramla, operating from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. These include culinary zones, a "Ninja" obstacle course, an ice rink, LEGO zones, an outdoor 3D cinema, a gaming area, and a street art festival. The event also highlights Ramla's cultural diversity with special community events, including a Russian and Israeli culture evening, a show dedicated to Joe Amar's legacy, and a Greek music and food festival.
Attendees can explore Ramla's attractions through walking tours and a double-decker bus, visiting sites like the Arch Pool, the White Tower, and the Ramla Museum. A special culinary tour of the Ramla market is also offered.
Ramla Mayor Michael Vidal expressed pride in the festival's growth and invited everyone to celebrate the city's unique blend of communities, traditions, and history.
