Free Wine Festival Returns to Tel Aviv’s Station Complex with Food and Local Producers
The Station Complex in Tel Aviv will host "Bar MeEretz HaYayin," a wine event by Ramat HaGolan Winery, from June 16 to 18. The open-air festival, timed for the start of summer, will run from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. each night, and entry is free.
The centerpiece will be a large wine bar pouring white, red, rosé, and dessert wines from the Hermon, Gamla, and Yarden series. Glasses will cost 25 to 45 shekels. The event is also meant to give a platform to wineries, producers, and local businesses from northern Israel.
Alongside the wine, visitors will find a broad food offering. Pizzeria Fresca from Afulim will serve Neapolitan pies from a wood-fired oven for 68 to 82 shekels. Hamsim HaSmeta from Metula will sell a classic hamburger for 45 shekels, Flora dairy from Lotem will offer a Galilee cheese platter for 68 shekels, and Studio Gelato will serve handmade Italian ice cream for 21 to 25 shekels.
Another major stand will be Taco Lolita from Tel Aviv, with tacos made with meat from the Golan. The menu includes raw fish taco with bluefin tuna tartare, Japanese mayonnaise, kiwi and za'atar Tabasco for 36 shekels, beef cheek taco with nam tok salsa and toasted rice for 24 shekels, lamb belly taco with chili jam aioli, citrus gremolata and passion fruit for 32 shekels, and nachos with chipotle matbucha, corn salsa and citrus guacamole for 38 shekels. After last year's success and long lines, organizers recommend arriving early and bringing patience and a good fan.
