US and Arab Nations Plan Gaza Education Reform
The Trump administration and several Arab nations are reportedly developing a plan to reform the education system in the Gaza Strip. According to Channel 13 News, the U.S. is considering making a portion of reconstruction funds for Gaza conditional on significant changes to its educational system, which Washington views as "hostile."
Senior U.S. officials are involved in drafting the plan, alongside representatives from Arab countries such as the United Arab Emirates and Palestinians not affiliated with the Palestinian Authority. The initiative aims to reshape the curriculum and educational approach within Gaza.
Sources indicate that a delegation, in contact with official Israeli channels, is preparing to visit Gaza. The purpose of this visit is to assess the feasibility of implementing the proposed educational reforms on the ground.
