Thank You God Movement Releases New Remix Ahead of Uman Pilgrimage

The 'Thank You God' movement has released an energetic remix of their hit single 'Harini Mekasher Atzmi' (I Connect Myself) just days before Rosh Hashanah. The new version, a collaboration with DJ Farbreng, Moshe Shterch, and AFIkoMAN, aims to provide a vibrant musical experience for the tens of thousands of Hasidim and believers traveling to the tomb of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov in Uman, Ukraine.

The song is based on a prayer attributed to Rabbi Natan of Breslov, which itself stems from Rabbi Nachman's famous instruction to declare before prayer, 'I connect myself to all the righteous of this generation.' The prayer has evolved over time to include connecting one's thoughts, speech, actions, desires, and intentions to the true righteous, particularly Rabbi Nachman. The remix infuses this ancient text with contemporary, upbeat sounds designed to accompany travelers on their journeys.

The 'Thank You God' movement began unexpectedly when a group of friends from Five Towns, New York, visited Tzfat, Israel, and were deeply moved by a local Jew's natural expression of gratitude, 'Thank you God.' This simple act became the foundation for a global movement.

Founded in 2018, the movement now boasts over 100,000 followers across social media platforms in countries including the United States, Canada, Israel, Argentina, Mexico, and the Netherlands. They produce music, religious content, podcasts, and merchandise, all focused on spreading gratitude, positive thinking, and a deep connection to God. This remix follows a recent wave of new musical releases in anticipation of the High Holidays, including singles by Moshe David Weissmandl and Dudi Kalish and Dudi Pollak.
