Nachman Rosenberg Releases 'Uman Trip 2' Musical Medley for Rosh Hashanah Pilgrimage

As tens of thousands of Breslov Hasidim prepare for their annual pilgrimage to Uman, Ukraine, for Rosh Hashanah, musician Nachman Rosenberg has released a new musical project titled 'Uman Trip 2.' This 11-minute medley is designed to serve as the soundtrack for the journey, blending energetic contemporary sounds with traditional Hasidic melodies and songs of longing for Rabbi Nachman of Breslov.

Rosenberg produced and arranged the project with Itzik Berger, aiming to create a rich sonic experience that combines traditional Hasidic elements with modern energy. The musical arrangements were handled by Yochai Uri and Itzik Berger, with additional programming by Yonatan Hershkowitz, adding technical depth to the work.

The project features prominent Hasidic singers, including Mesulam Zusha, Nuti Fox, Kalmi Schwartz, and Moishe Presberger, who deliver emotional performances that aim to capture the spiritual essence of the lyrics and melodies. Their combined vocals and energy are intended to create a special harmony that resonates with listeners and conveys the deep yearning for Uman and Rabbi Nachman.

'Uman Trip 2' follows the success of the first 'Uman Trip' medley, which also became a popular soundtrack for travelers to Uman. Rosenberg continues this tradition with the new release, connecting the fervent prayers of Rosh Hashanah with vibrant musical innovation. The medley is available on YouTube and other music platforms, serving as a musical gift for those making the pilgrimage.
