Blue and White Party Submits Knesset List with Aliza Bloch at Third Place
The Blue and White party submitted its list of candidates for the 26th Knesset just before the deadline, seeking to retain the "כן" (Yes) letters used in previous elections. The list was filed by incumbent Member of Knesset and faction chairwoman Pnina Tamnu Shata and newcomer Aliza Bloch. Bloch is positioned third on the slate.
The party's list will feature 50% women in the top ten positions, specifically at numbers 2, 3, 5, 8, and 10. The slate also includes two residents from northern Israel, three from the Gaza envelope communities, two kibbutz members, one moshav member, and a representative from the Druze community.
The top five candidates are party leader Benny Gantz, MK Pnina Tamnu Shata, new additions Aliza Bloch and Roee Kunkul, and Rotem Avidar Tzalik, who rounds out the top five.
Benny Gantz stated that Israel needs a broad Zionist government to address national challenges. He emphasized that the Blue and White candidates are worthy and value-driven individuals who believe a cross-bloc government is necessary to advance legislation for universal conscription, establish a state commission of inquiry, and promote national education. Gantz concluded by affirming the party's commitment to prioritizing the State of Israel.
