Pelephone Launches New Family Data Plan for International Travel
Ahead of the holiday season and with increased direct flights to the U.S., Israeli mobile carrier Pelephone has launched a new international data plan designed for families. The plan allows multiple users under the same account to share a single data allowance, addressing the common need for separate packages for each traveler and aiming to reduce overall family expenses.
The new package offers 50 gigabytes of data for use abroad, which can be shared among up to seven subscribers. Each subscriber also receives 150 minutes of calls and 150 SMS messages. The plan costs 299 shekels and is valid for 30 days.
"We have created a simple solution that centralizes family data usage into one package, allowing for cost savings and flexible, convenient data management during travel," said Dror Bahat, VP of Marketing at Pelephone. He added that the plan enables families better control over their expenses without the need to purchase and manage multiple packages simultaneously, even when traveling to the U.S.
