New Israeli Comedy Series 'People I Met' Premieres After Yom Kippur
The new Israeli comedy series "People I Met" held its premiere screening on Monday at the Enav Center for Culture in Tel Aviv. The show, based on Matan Halfon's popular book of the same name, will begin airing on Kan 11 and Kan BOX on the evening of Yom Kippur, which falls on Monday, October 4th, at 10:00 PM.
The series focuses on the colorful characters and stories of people who live and work in the Simi Center, a neighborhood shopping mall in Be'er Sheva. The project was directed by Yonatan Gurfinkel, edited by Guri Alfi, and produced by May TV Communications.
Attendees at the premiere included the creators Matan Halfon, Aviram Buchris, Omri Amit, and Adar Mirom, alongside a cast of prominent actors such as Tal Friedman, Yaniv Biton, Assi Cohen, Dana Ivgy, Arnon Zadok, Lidor Admoni, Shlomi Avraham, Sean Soferty, Susanna Papyan, Omer Kuli, Shiran Yitzhaki, Eden Havroni, and Yosef Russo.
Many other public figures from the entertainment, sports, and media industries also attended to support the new series, including Muli Shagav, Eran Zarchin, Liath Har Lev, Sharon Tykher, Shlomi Shaban, Rina Matzliach, Maor Melikson, Oren Yosipovich, Saar Fein, Uri Levi, Tamira and Li Yardani, and Shlomi Yifrah.
