Shas Party Submits Knesset Election List Without Surprises
The Shas party, led by Aryeh Deri, officially submitted its list of candidates for the 26th Knesset elections to the Central Elections Committee on Tuesday. The list, comprising 13 positions, was presented without any significant surprises, with all incumbent members reportedly securing their expected places.
Deri commented on the list, describing it as a "winning combination of experienced representatives with proven track records alongside new and quality faces." He added that the party would continue to work with determination for the public, to strengthen Torah study, reinforce Jewish identity, and serve all citizens of Israel, in the spirit and loyalty to the legacy of Rabbi Ovadia Yosef.
