Rapper Ofeq Adank Releases Diss Track Amidst Public Dispute With Ex-Girlfriend
Israeli rapper Ofeq Adank, 24, has released a new single titled "I Gave You a Home" less than a month after his arrest on suspicion of assaulting his ex-girlfriend, content creator Hadas Masori, 22. The song contains pointed lyrics that appear to be directed at Masori, referencing their public dispute and her alleged involvement in his increased fame. Adank sings lines such as "Everything with you is a lie, cheap manipulation" and "Because of you I'm more famous, because of you I can't leave the house." He also seems to allude to the alleged violent incident that led to his investigation, questioning why she would "spill his blood" and then seek blame.
Masori responded to the song on her Instagram "spam" account, posting a selfie with a sharp retort. "It's crazy that he said in the song 'I gave you a home' and he lived at my house for a year," she wrote. The public conflict between the two has been ongoing.
Adank has reportedly leveraged the public attention surrounding their dispute to advance his music career. He recently launched a new show at the Amphi Tel Aviv venue, which quickly sold out. Due to high demand, Adank has announced an additional performance scheduled for September 30.
