Israeli Official Slams UK Sanctions on Judea and Samaria Settlers as Antisemitic

Israel Gantz, head of the Benjamin Regional Council and chairman of the Yesha Council, strongly condemned Britain's decision to boycott products from Judea and Samaria and impose sanctions on Jewish residents. Gantz labeled the move a "despicable antisemitic act," asserting that Britain's mandate over the region ended nearly 80 years ago and London no longer dictates where Jews can live in the Land of Israel. He criticized the British government for forming a "coalition of pro-Palestinian states" to wage economic warfare against Jews in the region, instead of addressing its own domestic issues. Gantz stated that the Palestinian Authority is behind the boycott's promotion and "must pay the bill," demanding that any damage to Israel and its citizens resulting from the boycott be confiscated from PA funds. He conveyed a clear message to Britain and its allies that their efforts to remove Jews from Judea and Samaria will fail, promising that any attempt to harm settlements will be met with increased construction, new communities, and Israeli sovereignty.
