The political party of Ofer Vinter, currently polling around the electoral threshold, presents Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with a significant dilemma regarding the composition of his next government, according to game theory expert Dr. Kfir Tzur. Tzur outlines two potential scenarios based on Netanyahu's intentions: forming a right-wing government or a broad national unity government.

In a right-wing government scenario, Vinter's party, with its emphasis on an effective conscription law for all, could complicate maintaining the existing coalition with the ultra-Orthodox parties. The ultra-Orthodox parties are unlikely to accept such a law, which is a core tenet for Vinter. Netanyahu might view Vinter as a disruptive element, hindering the formation of a government based on the current bloc, as Vinter's stance differs from other right-wing parties that have compromised with the ultra-Orthodox. In the scenario of a broad national unity government, Vinter could play a bridging role, potentially weakening the influence of the ultra-Orthodox parties, which Tzur identifies as an obstacle to forming such a government. Tzur posits that if Netanyahu appears indifferent to Vinter, refrains from attacking him, or even takes steps to bolster him, it would logically align with the goal of forming a broader government.
