Avigdor Lieberman Faces Escalating Death Threats

Avigdor Lieberman, chairman of the Yisrael Beiteinu party and a Member of Knesset, has been subjected to a new wave of severe threats, including messages that endanger his life, the party announced Tuesday. Among the messages received were phrases like "The butcher is on his way to you," "Nazi pig, may your name be erased," and "Secular evil one, you have no right to exist."

Yisrael Beiteinu stated that these are not isolated incidents, but rather part of dozens of threats directed at Lieberman recently, with a marked increase in their severity. Following the latest threats, an additional complaint was filed with the Knesset's officer of the guard. This complaint joins previous ones submitted to law enforcement authorities regarding threats against the Yisrael Beiteinu leader.

Just last week, the party reported similar threats, including messages stating "We will send you back to Russia with a bullet in your head" and "God willing, you will die." Complaints were also filed with the Knesset officer of the guard after those messages were received.
