Maccabi Ashdod, returning to Israel's top basketball league after a six-year absence, is set to officially launch its season in the Winner Cup group stage against Hapoel Jerusalem. The team is optimistic about the upcoming season, with players demonstrating strong professional performance and a cohesive team spirit during practices. Captain Robert Turner, who was a standout player during the team's promotion season averaging 24.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 4.9 assists, expressed his honor and excitement about leading the team.

Turner emphasized the team's strategy of taking each game day by day, focusing on hard work in practices and building a strong team chemistry.
