Infant Falls From Bunk Bed in Uman, Ukraine

A six-month-old baby girl fell from a bunk bed in her home near the tomb of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov in Uman, Ukraine, and is in moderate condition. First responders from United Hatzalah, Avromi Diamant and Akiva Kaufman, reported that the family stated the child fell from a bunk bed. After providing initial medical assistance, she was evacuated by ambulance to a local hospital for further treatment.

In recent days, since the start of security operations last Wednesday, United Hatzalah has responded to 56 emergency and medical assistance calls in Uman. These incidents included traffic accidents, falls from heights, breathing problems, burns, minor injuries, and other medical cases. Some patients were transported to local Uman hospitals by United Hatzalah ambulances.

United Hatzalah Ukraine operations commander Naftali Rabinowitz stated that streets and areas near Rabbi Nachman's tomb have been divided into numbered zones. This measure, implemented in cooperation with the Uman municipality and local police, aims to enable rapid arrival of emergency forces to precise locations where incidents occur.
