Static and Ben El turn down a reported 1.5 million shekel reunion offer
Israeli pop duo Static and Ben El were offered about 1.5 million shekels to reunite for a single song performance at a major Wiz party, but declined, according to mako. The offer would have brought the former hit-making pair back on stage for one number only.
The event in question was Wiz’s large-scale celebration, first reported by mako, which later featured artists including Harel Moyal, Harel Skaat, Shiri Maimon, Ninet, and Odaia, along with others. Sources familiar with the details said Static and Ben El were also invited to take part.
Despite what one source described as good relations between the two, they refused the offer. An industry source told mako, "It is not yet the time, but it will happen, the money is not a factor in the decision right now."
