Idan Shom, owner of Hapoel Kfar Saba, has assumed all professional responsibilities for the Israeli National League club, potentially coaching the team himself in their upcoming match against Kiryat Gat on Thursday. This decision follows the dismissal of coach Shahar Weizinger after only three rounds, attributed to a poor season start, including a humiliating 6-0 loss to Ra'anana and conceding four goals at home against Modi'in.

Facing a shortage of qualified coaches for the National League, Shom concluded that he must take direct responsibility for the team's performance.
