Beitar Jerusalem Star Omer Atzili Kicks Bottle in Frustration After Substitution
Beitar Jerusalem's star player Omer Atzili displayed visible anger during his team's match against Bnei Sakhnin on Wednesday evening, reacting strongly to a substitution.
Atzili, who had a frustrating game, was involved in a significant refereeing decision in the 75th minute. Initially, a penalty was awarded by referee Oral Grinfeld, but after VAR intervention, he reviewed the play and overturned the decision, instead issuing Atzili a yellow card.
In the 81st minute, Atzili was substituted off. As he left the field, he gestured angrily towards the fourth official, Aviad Shiloh. After shaking hands with teammate Almog Cohen, Atzili was seen kicking a water bottle on the team's bench.
Beitar Jerusalem had taken a 1-0 lead in the 64th minute through Yujin Ansah.
