Trump Says He Expects More Gratitude From Israel
At a press conference on Wednesday at the G7 summit in France, President Donald Trump said the United States had “defeated Iran militarily already in the first week of the war,” and that he expects “more gratitude” from Israel.
Trump said he wants Israel to be able to defend itself, but added that he also expects it to “use proper judgment” when deciding how to act. He was responding to questions about whether he wants Israel to stop its military campaign.
The comments came during the G7 summit in France, where Trump also said the negotiations with Iran are “very strong” and that the parties want to reach an agreement.
